Job summary

Sylvania in Utah is seeking a part-time Specialist, Computer Elementary to lead weekly computer literacy, coding, and technology instruction for K–6 students while supporting technology integration in daily classroom activities.

The role includes maintaining lab equipment, managing Chromebooks, and assisting with district curricula and assessments. A high school diploma and job-related experience are required, along with annual district training. Exempt status applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Job-related experience is required.
• District required training annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly technology instruction to elementary students in grades K–6.
• Teach computer literacy, keyboarding, and introductory coding skills.
• Implement district-approved instructional technology curriculum.
• Maintain computer hardware, software, and related technology equipment.
• Manage computer lab supplies, software, and technology resources.
• Assist with school testing by supporting technology requirements for assessments.
• Monitor students to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Maintain technology inventory, including Chromebooks and related equipment.
• Prepare lesson plans and program documentation.
• Research and write grants to support the technology program.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
