Specialist, Client Processing Representative

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Responsibilities

• Provides client service and support to internal and external clients daily, including phone interaction, problem resolution, transaction processing, reconciliations and accounting services.
• Regularly updates client accounts in a timely manner.
• Supports clients in addressing moderately complex operational and technical issues and ensuring requests are executed.
• Demonstrates the ability & willingness to learn about our clients and our products.
• Monitors client inquiries, resolves non-routine issues and escalates complex issues as needed.
• Participates in internal activities and initiatives designed to improve the client experience.
• Utilizes problem‑solving skills and best judgment to analyze information, and to provide our clients with information related to BNY products.

Requirements

• High school/secondary school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5‑7 years of total work experience preferred.
• Comfortable speaking directly with our clients.
• Experience in an operational area and/or client services preferred.
• Rotating schedule starting on 11 am – 8 pm for the first month, then including 7 am – 4 pm and 9 am – 6 pm.

Benefits

BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs. Base salary for this position is expected to be between $52,000 and $85,000 per year at the commencement of employment, with potential for commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long‑term incentive packages, and company‑sponsored benefit programs. Paid leave, including paid volunteer time, is provided.
