About the Role

Our client, a major automotive manufacturing plant in East London, Eastern Cape, is seeking a dedicated Specialist Cleaning & Sanitation Coordinator to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene throughout their extensive facilities. This role is fundamental to maintaining operational efficiency, product quality, and a safe working environment. You will be responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations, managing cleaning staff, implementing effective sanitation protocols, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within the East London plant. We are looking for an individual committed to upholding rigorous hygiene standards in a demanding industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage daily cleaning and sanitation schedules for all areas of the manufacturing plant.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to conduct inspections and identify areas requiring improvement.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform tasks associated with cleaning and sanitation.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to East London, Eastern Cape.
• Experience with specific automotive industry hygiene standards is a plus.
