About the Role

Our client, a large-scale service provider for commercial and industrial facilities, is seeking an experienced Regional Sanitation Operations Manager based in East London, Eastern Cape . This senior role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing sanitation operations across multiple sites within the region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing cleaning teams, implementing efficient sanitation programs, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. You will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, controlling costs, and maintaining the highest service standards for our diverse client base. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning capabilities, and a deep understanding of the complexities of large-scale sanitation management. Your focus will be on enhancing service delivery, improving team performance, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the Eastern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all sanitation operations across multiple facilities within the assigned region.
• Develop, implement, and monitor sanitation programs to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
• Proven experience managing large teams and multiple operational sites.
• In-depth knowledge of sanitation procedures, cleaning technologies, and health & safety regulations.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective operational strategies.
• Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and operations management software.
• Ability to travel extensively within the designated region.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
