The Archdiocese of St. Louis is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance Office in the greater St. Louis area. The role requires presence in the office as scheduled and focuses on accurate data entry, vendor maintenance, and timely processing of invoices.
The successful candidate will be familiar with Excel and Word, possess high attention to detail, and maintain a service-oriented attitude while supporting monthly closings and ad hoc projects.

This position is in the greater St. Louis, MO area and the successful candidate will be required to be present in the office as scheduled.
Compiles, enters and maintains accounts payable records by performing the following duties.
Reviews vendor data on dissimilar vendor invoices to determine if the vendor is currently in the system or whether a new vendor record needs to be added. As necessary, sets up new vendor records.
Requests and obtains Forms W-9 as necessary.
Enters banking information on the vendor record if the vendor is to be paid by ACH.
Determines if invoices have been properly approved and includes support documentation, such as lien waivers, prior to data entry.
Accurately enter data from invoices or check requests in required fields in the accounts payable system and forwards for review.
Uploads invoice data into the accounts payable system from various sources.
Answers agency payment inquiries.
Assists in monthly closings.
Assists with special projects as directed by the Accounts Payable Supervisor or other managers as directed.
