Job summary

RTX is seeking a hands-on shop technician to assemble, inspect and repair non-deliverable hardware and tooling. You will support prototype and production activities, track job status in Jira, and assist with test fixtures and troubleshooting in a safety-focused shop environment.

The role requires metal fabrication knowledge, hand-tool proficiency, and strong communication skills. U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility, with onsite work in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in metal fabrication and use of hand tools.
• Proficient written and verbal communication; collaborative by nature.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prototype assembly, inspection and repair of non-deliverable hardware, tooling and test equipment.
• Support prototype/production with precision inspection and standard shop tools.
• Update and track shop statuses using Jira; assist in test fixture assembly and troubleshooting.
