Job summary

HB Global in Harleysville, PA, is seeking an HVAC Installer for our Special Projects team. The role uses detailed plans from PMs/Estimators to complete commercial HVAC installs efficiently and safely.

You will work with duct, air handlers, chillers, and VRF systems, performing copper line installations, brazing, and system evacuations. EPA certification is required and on-site collaboration is essential.

• Operating knowledge of HVAC systems and proper use of hand tools.
• Understanding installation and operating control systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform various HVAC install jobs on commercial sites.
• Assist foreman with manpower, materials, and forecasting of needs for assigned projects.
• Install copper refrigerant lines for VRF units including brazing, soldering, evacuations and charge calculations.
• Proficiently install duct systems from equipment through final GRDs, including ducting and venting.
• Coordinate with foreman and subcontractors to ensure project needs are met and communicated.
