IT Landes Company, LLC is hiring an experienced HVAC Service/Install Mechanic for our commercial projects. You will perform install tasks, braze copper lines for VRF units, and complete duct installations from rough-in to GRD while reading blueprints and supporting foremen.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in commercial HVAC.
• Reading and understanding blueprints and submittal sheets.
• Basic trade math for proper installation of equipment.
• OSHA/EPA certifications are beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC install-related work on commercial sites.
• Install copper refrigerant lines for large VRF units including brazing and soldering.
• Proficient in duct system installations from rough-in to GRD.
• Forecast material needs for foreman and provide a list as needed.
• Represent the company professionally and ethically in all business matters.

The Commercial Construction Department is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service/Install Mechanic who will work with, learn, and oversee numerous systems, parts and mechanisms. A successful candidate will have five or more years of experience. Our designers and draftsmen provide detailed prints that our mechanics and foremen use to get the work done on time and according to plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing various HVAC install related jobs on our commercial sites.
• Perform installation of copper refrigerant lines for large VRF units including brazing and soldering.
• Proficient at most duct system installations from equipment rough in’s to GRDs.
• Capable of looking ahead and providing foreman a material list as needed.
• Continuously represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and concerns.
• Collaborate and assist team members to build a high level of teamwork and morale.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform basic trade related math calculations for proper installation of equipment.
• five or more years of experience specific to the commercial HVAC industry.
• EPA/OSHA certifications are beneficial but not required.
• Must possess the ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications and submittal sheets.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach and lift heavy objects.
• General understanding of OSHA regulations.
• Must be able to work with hand and power tool.
• Basic understanding of installation, HVAC systems, and operating control systems.
