Job summary

The Los Rios Community College District is seeking a part-time Campus Facility Steward to assist with external rentals and event support at Folsom Lake College, under the Campus Operations department.

Temporary positions are limited to 135 workdays per fiscal year. Duties include welcoming renters, aiding with event setup, monitoring compliance, assisting users, and maintaining facility cleanliness on campus grounds.

Qualifications

• One year of experience is equal to 12 months of experience at 40 hours per week. Applicable part-time experience will be converted to the full-time equivalent for purposes of meeting the experience requirement.
• Education must be from an accredited institution.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa.

Responsibilities

• Greets and serves as the official liaison for community groups, facility renters, and/or other organizations using Folsom Lake College facilities.
• Assists with event set-up requirements when needed, including making rounds of facilities in use by community users/groups and unlocking and securing facilities.
• Notifies Police or the Operations Director and/or Supervisor if anyone using Folsom Lake College facilities, upon observation, is not complying with the Facility Use Permit, rules, regulations, terms and conditions of use.
• Provides assistance to users as needed.
• Maintain basic cleanliness of facilities in use; including picking up trash in areas such as the athletic fields/courts, bleachers, restrooms, and other areas as needed.
• Other duties for external rentals, as required: Cart Operator, Parking

This position is assigned to the Campus Operationsdepartment.

NOTE: Temporary classified positions are limited to 135 workdays per fiscal year, per board regulation.

The temporary position includes the followingresponsibilities:
