Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer for Special Projects to oversee planning and execution of commercial installations, including HVAC, electrical, piping, and related trades.

This role covers remodels, tenant upfits, rough-ins, and smaller new construction projects. The candidate will collaborate with sales, safety, purchasing, CAD/BIM and fabrication teams, manage budgets, and report key metrics to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred or 2+ years of experience in commercial construction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work across disciplines.
• Must be a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision, detail-oriented, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Must pass post-offer drug screen and background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with project teams, customers, subcontractors and vendors.
• Assist in day-to-day management of small to medium commercial construction jobs (renovations, upfits, etc.).
• Coordinate with sales, safety, purchasing, CAD/BIM, and fabrication to develop build plans and schedules.
• Communicate schedules and tasks to field teams and ensure timely execution within budget.
