Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, or Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Two years of full‑time, paid administrative or administrative support work including research, data analysis and report preparation, using a PC and software.
  • EIT/AIT status or progress toward licensure (PE/RA/RLA) or PMP/CCM is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes and facilitates special projects and programs; compiles data and statistics; prepares reports; makes recommendations to supervisor.
  • Conducts research; gathers and analyzes information; communicates findings.
  • Acts as liaison between office and local/state government entities.
  • Collaborates with other offices and outside agencies on joint ventures; recruits staff, secures space, addresses finances.
  • Attends meetings with outside representatives; assesses feasibility and makes recommendations.
  • Evaluates ongoing and special projects; suggests modifications.
  • Responds to inquiries about District policies and initiatives.
  • Prepares reports for local and state agencies; may assist with grant proposals.
