Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Dean, you will manage timelines, calendars, travel logistics, and engage internal and external stakeholders while coordinating with SOE communications for event promotion.
Serves in an administrative capacity and provides administrative support to the project manager and other team members. Assists with fiscal management and compliance with federal regulations and the contracts. Manages day-to-day office operations and interacts with key stakeholders.

The School of Education Dean's Office is hiring a Part Time Special Projects Coordinator to handle administrative tasks, manage special projects, support school-wide events, and enhance outreach efforts. Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Dean, this coordinator will provide support for initiatives such as the Transfer Pathways Summit, Community Transfer Scholars’ Program, Summer College Access Programs, the Dean’s Ignite Speaker Series (e.g., arrange housing, travel, and other logistical arrangements) etc. The role involves working closely with the SOE communications and marketing unit for event promotion, conducting program evaluations, and serving as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
In addition to providing programmatic and project support, the coordinator will assist in:
Planning networking events, partner engagement and community building activities.
Monitoring program development, timelines, and communication.
Maintaining calendars and scheduling of activities and events for various programs; as well as participation in SOE and campus committees, community events, meetings, and affiliated activities.
Position requires meeting with faculty, staff, and students in other parts of the building and throughout the campus as well as off campus. Mostly a sedentary position. Computer work is required. Light lifting, pushing, and pulling could be needed (less than 25lbs) for events or other activities.
