The role you’ll contribute:

The Reconciliation Services department facilitates cash reconciliation for most AdventHealth entities. Responsibilities include upfront reconciliation, payment posting, backend reconciliation, and posting corrections. The Accountant will post journal entries related to these functions.

The value that you bring to the team:

• Demonstrate understanding of AdventHealth cash posting policies and banking processes to record journal entries accurately.
• Research discrepancies in the cash posting process and record necessary corrections.
• Identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.
• Gather data and produce documentation for special projects, clearly articulating results.
• Use independent judgment to recommend process improvements to leadership.
• Manage assigned projects, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and keep management informed.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience posting journal entries.
• Familiarity with business concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Experience with cash posting for patient and insurance payments and reconciliation of cash receipts.
