Job Description

The Senior Accountant will utilize general accounting principles to prepare financial reports and analyses. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of the accounting functions such as maintaining accounts and records, recording transactions, analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, forecasts, financial statements, and schedules, as well as supporting audit processes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Preparation and entry of journal entries, including GAAP and statutory reporting
• Preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports
• Analysis of monthly financial reports and records
• Recording journal entries in JDE according to GAAP and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy
• Reconciling bank statements to maintain accurate cash balances
• Completing quarterly and annual statutory financial statements in compliance with accounting principles
• Maintaining control processes and supporting the annual audit by preparing schedules

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business
• 4-5 years of relevant experience
• CPA certification preferred
