Job summary

Texas A&M International University is seeking a Special Program Aid - Stagehand (FPA) to assist the department with backstage tasks, lighting setup, sound, props, and performer wardrobe changes.

This temporary/casual position in Laredo, Texas requires a high school diploma or GED and some stagehand experience, is campus-based, and includes evening and weekend hours with a 19-hour weekly schedule. The hourly rate is $15.00.

Job Summary

Assist the department with a variety of backstage tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with moving, setting up, and testing lighting.
• Assist with sound, props, and performing a variety of backstagetasks.
• Assist performers and wardrobe changes and other miscellaneoustasks.

Minimum Requirements

• Education - High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience - Some stagehand experience required.

Knowledge of

Pay of Rate
