As a Special Procedures Technologist within our Cardiac Cath Lab at Banner Desert Medical Center, Mesa, there are exciting opportunities to be a part of the health care transformation. We are known nationally as an innovative leader in new health care models and are on the cutting edge of medical advances.
This SPT will perform a variety of roles, including monitoring and procedure scrubbing, as well as assisting physicians and nursing. We offer a wide variety of cardiac procedures, including diagnostic, structural, and electrophysiology, just to name a few. We do see pediatric and adult patients.
Shift Details: This position is eligible for flat $3hr weekend shift differential and $5hr call out pay.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position performs prescribed specialized radiographic procedures as directed by following department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. This position ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population.
CORE FUNCTIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program. Requires national certification American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure by state regulatory agency if applicable. Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty required if applicable within 18 months of hire (and/or equivalent clinical experience for Cath Lab only). BLS certification.
This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2 years of experience. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, analyze data and solve problems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
