As our Special Procedure Technologist, you will learn from experienced, advanced registry certified SPTs and a team of physicians. Your role involves supporting procedures like Cardiac catheterization, interventions, device implants, electrophysiology, Watchman, and Cardiomems. We also participate in the TAVR program in the Hybrid Surgical Suite. If you seek a multifaceted, challenging, educational, and rewarding team environment, we would like to review your application.

Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts from 7am-5:30pm, Monday - Friday, with night, weekend, and holiday call. Enjoy an 18% night shift differential and a flat $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable.

Sign-on bonuses:

  • $10,000 for those with less than 1 year of experience (requires 1-year commitment)
  • $30,000 for those with more than 1 year of experience (requires 2-year commitment)

Position Summary: This role performs specialized radiographic procedures following department policies, ensuring optimal patient care.

Core Functions:

  • Performs diagnostic/interventional radiographic procedures based on provider orders, using independent judgment.
  • Educates patients and families about procedures/treatments, demonstrating professionalism and fostering teamwork.
  • Produces high-quality images, prepares documentation, and maintains equipment quality control.
  • Ensures safety, adheres to radiation policies, and maintains confidentiality.
  • Maintains workflow efficiency and supplies inventory.
  • Performs procedures independently, collaborating with medical staff and external agencies.

Minimum Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, national certification (ARRT), state licensure if applicable, BLS certification, and typically 2 years of clinical experience. Effective communication, data analysis, and problem-solving skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education or experience.
