Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our dedicated Radiology team. Our mission is to deliver state-of-the-art healthcare to our local communities, creating a positive impact for all who walk through our doors.

Position Overview

The staff member is responsible for coordinating daily patient procedures to ensure smooth workflow in the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities

• Train specialized technologists in invasive procedures, film processing, and troubleshooting equipment issues, including quality control.
• Assist and perform technical procedures on patients of all ages, mainly adults. Provide on-call coverage as needed. May be assigned to either campus or access center.
• Access to contrast media is necessary for transporting, stocking, preparing, or administering contrast media, in accordance with scope of practice regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a recognized Radiologic Technology program; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Experience: At least 1 year of Radiologic Technology experience; Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
• Licensure: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology; Vascular Interventional Radiology preferred; Current Connecticut license.
• Skills: Familiarity with standard practices in the field, ability to use or learn departmental computerized systems, and a degree of creativity and judgment.
