Job summary

Norton Healthcare in Louisville, KY is seeking a Radiography Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and patient care. You will apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology, explain procedures to patients, and supervise students during clinical training.

Must hold a state radiography license (RO) with ARRT-R and obtain ARRT-VI/CI/CV or RCIS within 24 months of hire, or ROT with ARRT-R before expiration and obtain the same certifications within 24 months.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of the human anatomy, physiology, as well as image quality. He/she must be able to communicate to patients the nature of the exam and relieve their anxiety. Must demonstrate an understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques. Demonstrates the ability to supervise students providing patient care, treatment and services as part of their training.
