Job summary

Norton Healthcare in Louisville, KY seeks a Radiologic Technologist who can demonstrate strong anatomy knowledge, image quality, and patient communication. This role requires supervising students and ensuring safety protocols during imaging procedures.

Responsibilities include accurate positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, infection control, and quality control. Relocation and comprehensive benefits are available as part of our program.

Qualifications

• RO Radiography License and ARRT-R are required.
• Must obtain one of ARRT-VI, ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV or RCIS within 24 months of hire.
• For ROT track, a ROT license plus ARRT-R and one of ARRT-VI/CI/CV/RCIS within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Communicates to patients the nature of the exam and relieves anxiety.
• Supervises students providing patient care during training.

Responsibilities

Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of the human anatomy, physiology, as well as image quality. He/she must be able to communicate to patients the nature of the exam and relieve their anxiety. Must demonstrate an understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques. Demonstrates the ability to supervise students providing patient care, treatment and services as part of their training.
