Job summary

Great Plains Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Special Procedures cost center. The role encompasses assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.

The incumbent will be accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered, utilizing specialized knowledge and coordination with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs across developmentally appropriate age groups.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in state of practice or compact license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and provides comprehensive nursing care.
• Documents assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation in the patient record.
• Collaborates with the health care team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Provides care based on best available evidence and regulatory requirements.
