Job description

Job Overview:

Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for procedural and system controls, problem-solving and teaching. Maintains all necessary QC, QA and documents required by accreditation agencies. Will assist Physician tableside with all invasive procedures and post-processing and may participate “on call”

Qualifications:

Required :

  • High School Graduate
  • Completion of an approved Radiological Technology Program that meets the requirements set by the ASRT and the New Jersey Certification Board

Preferred:

  • 2years of experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • Must be licensed by the New Jersey State – DEP and registered by the ARRT
  • BCLS and ACLS required for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and BCLS only for Interventional Radiologic Technologist
