Job Overview:

Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Responsible for procedural and system controls, problem-solving, and teaching. Maintains all necessary QC, QA, and documentation required by accreditation agencies. Assists physicians at the table with invasive procedures, post-processing, and may participate in on-call duties.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Graduate
• Completion of an approved Radiological Technology Program meeting ASRT and New Jersey Certification Board requirements

Preferred:

• 2 years of experience

Certifications and Licenses:

• Must be licensed by the New Jersey State DEP and registered by the ARRT
• BCLS and ACLS for Cardiac Catheterization Lab; BCLS only for Interventional Radiologic Technologist
