Position Summary

This position performs prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with department policies, ensuring optimal patient care.

Core Functions

• Performs radiographic procedures and analysis according to departmental guidelines.
• Educates patients and families regarding procedures, risks, and prevention.
• Produces high-quality images and maintains accurate documentation.
• Demonstrates competence in invasive/interventional procedures, if applicable.
• Performs equipment quality control and troubleshooting.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to ethical, legal, and professional standards.
• Ensures departmental workflow efficiency and maintains supplies.
• Performs prescribed procedures independently, supporting internal and external customers.

Minimum Qualifications

Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiology program. National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and state licensure if applicable. BLS certification required. Typically requires 1 year of clinical experience. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required for certain locations.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional related education and experience are preferred.
