Amber Charter Schools is seeking a Special Populations Manager for Kingsbridge Elementary School. You will be the primary contact for SWD, ELL, 504, and Title I services, ensuring students receive mandated supports and accurate documentation.

You will coach ENL and special education staff, oversee RTI progress, coordinate family engagement, and partner with administrators to sustain compliant programs and measurable student outcomes.

Formación

• New York State certification in Students with Disabilities and 3+ years of relevant K-12 experience.
• Strong knowledge of IEP, 504, ENL/ELL, and RTI requirements with documentation and reporting.
• Proficiency with student information systems and assessment platforms; data-driven decision making.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse groups including families, staff, and external agencies.
• Pre-employment fingerprinting and background check, eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as primary contact for SWD/ELL/504, IEP meetings, and 504 processes.
• Coach ENL and special education staff; manage schedules, caseloads, and evaluations.
• Lead professional development on tiered intervention and compliance.
• Maintain compliance records and report progress to leadership.
• Coordinate family engagement, translations, and parental rights under IDEA.
• Support school operations and SST initiatives as needed.
