Job Description
Allied Universal is looking to hire a Police Officer. Our Company Police Force is an excellent choice for private police contracting. We seek highly motivated applicants with the education and skills that meet all state training requirements mandated by the North Carolina Justice Academy. As a Sworn Police Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in the county facilities around Raleigh, NC.

Position Details

• Type: Part-Time
• Pay Rate: $31.93 / Hour
• Schedule: Wed 12:00 AM - 07:00 AM, Thu 12:00 AM - 07:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide police services, including safety procedures and emergency responses
• Respond calmly and effectively to incidents and critical situations
• Conduct patrols around schools and perimeter

Minimum Requirements

• At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess or be able to obtain a state driver’s license; be a US citizen
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Certified (sworn) as a police officer, with a BLET Certificate or Law Enforcement Certification
• Out-of-state candidates must have completed an accredited BLET course and have two years of full-time law enforcement experience; may need to complete an abbreviated BLET course within a year
• Military police experience may qualify under certain conditions
• Pass a background check and drug screening; submit to a SBI polygraph if in probationary status
• Honorable discharge from military (if applicable)
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to handle crises with de-escalation tactics
• Perform general law enforcement duties including patrolling, issuing citations, investigating, and making arrests
• Attend training and maintain proficiency in firearm use
• Ability to work in various environments and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
