Job summary

Endurion in Fort Liberty, NC is seeking an Independent licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate, treat and rehabilitate musculoskeletal conditions to optimize SOF mission readiness. Direct-access provider; no referral required.

This role requires a Master’s degree in physical therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program with ABPTS certification; board credentials (OCS/SCS/ATC) or fellowship-trained candidates are valued. Must meet DHA credentialing and maintain state licensure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physical therapy from a CAPTE-accredited institution.
• ABPTS certification required or equivalent.
• One of: OCS, SCS, or ATC.
• Fellowship-trained PTs may be considered; residencies may substitute for board certification as allowed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat and rehabilitate neuromusculoskeletal conditions as a direct-access provider (no referral required).
• Provide post-operative evaluation and rehabilitative plans of care based on clinical guidelines and current evidence.
• Use proactive injury mitigation strategies, including risk identification and unit-specific programs.
• Supervise PT techs and assistants as directed.
• Advise the POTFF/physical domain manager, medical staff and command leadership on sports medicine, rehabilitation and research.
• Help develop clinical practice guidelines and training materials.
• Participate in quality assurance, patient safety procedures and in-service training; report data as requested.
