Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools seeks a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with severe special education needs under licensed staff. The role includes assisting with curriculum for individuals and small groups, implementing IEP accommodations, and maintaining progress records.

You may also help with technical care and remote learning tasks as needed. In this role you will assist in behavioral strategies, support administration of tests, and help ensure a safe, hygienic environment for students.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency diploma or equivalent.
• No professional work experience required.
• Two years of higher education or higher.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; CPI training beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum for individual needs (Daily, flexible).
• Implement IEP accommodations and track student progress with licensed staff.
• Prepare instructional materials and assist with tests, attendance, and paperwork.
• Support with online learning tasks and technology troubleshooting.
