Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers is seeking a Severe Needs Para Educator in Colorado to support students with severe special education needs under licensed staff direction. You will assist with curriculum delivery, behavior strategies, and progress monitoring, including remote learning support and technology access.

Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, maintaining records, providing technical physical care, and assisting in ILC/FEPE programs per IEPs.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma.
• No professional work experience required.
• Mandatory Crisis Prevention Intervention training.
• Medication administration training.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum to individual needs.
• Implement IEP accommodations and maintain progress records.
• Prepare materials, assist with tests and attendance.
• Assist with online learning and technology troubleshooting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
