Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers is seeking a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with severe special education needs under licensed staff.The role includes assisting with curriculum, skill development, behavior strategies, and assignment completion, both in-class and in remote settings.

Responsibilities span preparing instructional materials, monitoring progress, maintaining records, and providing physical care. Training in crisis intervention and medication administration may be provided.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma required.
• No professional work experience required.
• Mandatory Crisis Prevention Intervention training provided by the District.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum to individual needs.
• Maintain records of student progress and behavior with licensed staff.
• Assist with online learning and technology support for remote settings.
• Provide technical physical care and support a safe, hygienic environment.
