Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools seeks a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with complex needs under licensed staff. You will adapt curriculum for individuals and small groups, prepare instructional materials, and monitor progress to help students achieve their goals.

In addition to classroom support, you will help ensure a safe, hygienic environment and assist in remote learning contexts with technology access and curriculum reinforcement. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma required.
• Associate’s degree preferred or higher.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to work one-on-one and in small groups with students.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum for individual needs.
• Maintain records of student progress and behavior with licensed staff.
• Provide assistance with materials, tests, and attendance; support with safety drills.
