Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Severe Needs Para Educator to assist students with severe special education needs under licensed staff supervision. You will support individuals and small groups with curriculum, behavior strategies, and assignment completion, preparing instructional materials and maintaining records.

In remote settings, you will assist with technology access, executive functioning, and coursework completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred for some assignments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a school setting.
• Ability to modify curriculum for individual student needs.
• Familiarity with behavior support strategies and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities, adapting curriculum for individual needs.
• Implement accommodations and monitor progress with licensed staff and IEP team.
• Prepare materials, assist tests, attendance, and classroom events.
• Support online learning activities and technology access when remote.
