Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools seeks a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with extensive special education needs. You will work under licensed staff to implement curriculum, track progress, and maintain records.

In both in-person and remote settings, you’ll assist with technology access, behavior strategies, and data collection while providing compassionate care and a safe learning environment for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• High School Equivalency diploma required and proper background checks completed.
• Experience with IEPs and classroom accommodations is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow licensed staff guidance and maintain student records.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum to needs.
• Maintain progress records and report observations to IEP team.
• Prepare instructional materials and support online or in-person delivery.
• Provide technical care and support for routines, safety, and hygiene.
• Assist with testing, attendance, and administrative tasks as needed.
