Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with significant disabilities under licensed special education staff. You will assist with curriculum adaptation, behavioral support, documentation, and progress monitoring in both in-person and remote learning contexts.

Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, assisting with tests and activities, maintaining IEP-related records, and ensuring a safe, hygienic environment.

Qualifications

• Follows licensed staff guidance to support students with severe needs.
• Assists with curriculum adaptation and skill development.
• Maintains records of student progress and behavior with staff.
• Ensures a safe, hygienic environment and proper care per IEP.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities, adapting curriculum for individual needs.
• Implement IEP accommodations and maintain progress notes.
• Prepare materials and assist with tests, attendance, and documentation.
• Provide physical care and monitor student safety in various settings.
• Support online/remote learning and sign-language support where applicable.
