Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Caregiver - Special Needs to provide one-to-one support in Erie County, PA. Shifts are primarily part-time, daytime, Monday through Friday, with mileage reimbursement and weekly pay.

You will assist with daily tasks, engage clients in hobbies, and help them reach independence at home and in the community. We value compassion, reliability, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+).
• Ability to transport clients to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.

• Support the client's goals towards independence in the home and community.
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking Caregiver - Special Needs to join the team in Erie County, PA. BAYADA's Caregiver- Special Needs work one-on-one in home and community settings as a mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to help them reach their goals and fullest potential. The more flexible and reliable you are, the more shifts you may be able to work! The majority of our shifts are part-time, dayshifts, Monday through Friday. We value compassion, excellence, and reliability, and are seeking aides who will also be committed to our values.

How You’ll Make an Impact as a Caregiver- Special Needs:

• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities
• Support the client's goals towards independence in the home and community
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Participate in community integration activities to focus on socialization

Compensation & Schedule:

• Competitive pay rates with a weekly pay schedule ($19.50 / hour +)
• Flexible scheduling (part-time, daytime hours, various shifts)
• Short commute times (we match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)
• Mileage reimbursement weekly
