Job summary

ComForCare Home Care is seeking a Child Respite Provider to support children aged 6-16 with developmental disabilities in a home-care setting in San Leandro, CA. You will plan and implement activities to develop social, communication, and cognitive skills while ensuring safety and well-being.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, regular training, and ongoing support, with part-time hours in the late afternoon and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or teens with developmental disabilities.
• Willingness to drive clients.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability M-F 3:30pm–7pm and Saturdays 9:30am–5:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social, communication, and behavioral skills.
• Support children's social, physical, and cognitive development.
• Organize activities and lessons to promote learning and exploration.

• Support children's social, physical, and cognitive development
• Organize activities and lessons to help children learn and explore
• Ensure children are safe and well-care for

What we're looking for:

• A passion for working with children with special needs ( 6-16 years of age)
• Minimum Availability M-F 3:30pm - 7pm, and/or Saturdays 9:30am-5:30pm
• Ability and willingness to drive your clients
• Experience with children or teens with developmental disabilities
• Caring and compassionate attitude
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Salary Range:

• $22.00-$26.00
