Job summary

Southern Ute Indian Montessori Academy seeks a dedicated aide to support disabled and special needs students under qualified guidance. You will assist in educational, social, and life-skill development while helping meet Individual Education Plan objectives.

The role pays $17.05 per hour, requires a high school diploma, background checks, and current First Aid/CPR within 3 months of hire, with TB testing and drug screening as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Standard First Aid and Infant/Child/Adult CPR Certification within 3 months of hire.
• Must pass a TB test.
• Must pass a thorough background check including Criminal History and fingerprint check.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assists Southern Ute Indian Montessori Academy disabled and special needs students with educational, physical, emotional, and social growth and development under direction of a certified guide or specialists.
• Assists with life skills, academic success, and meeting IEP objectives.
