Job summary

YMCA of South Florida seeks a qualified Teacher for Broward Youth Development Team at various Special Needs sites. • Bachelor's degree or higher and a valid Florida Teaching Certificate.
• 1–3 years of licensed childcare/day camp experience with children.
• Ability to model YMCA character development values.

Responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum and homework assistance for 15–20 children.
• Plan and supervise activities aligned to licensing and YMCA policies.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and proper staff-to-child ratios.
• Document behavior and health concerns daily and escalate to Site Supervisor.
