Job summary

YMCA of South Florida seeks a Site Supervisor for Broward County school sites to oversee afterschool/day camp operations. You will lead staff, supervise daily activities, manage fees and records, and foster positive relationships with participants and parents.

You will ensure compliance with licensing, funding agency standards, and YMCA policies while creating a supportive, engaging environment for children.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CDA or higher degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in licensed childcare/day camp with supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to relate well to children and adults and model YMCA values.
• Site Supervisor must be 21+ at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and quality control for the site.
• Maintain child:staff ratios and supervise all site staff.
• Collect fees and manage program records and supplies.
• Create engaging, organized activities aligned with curriculum; supervise to ensure safety.
• Communicate with parents about the program and child participation; report behavior issues.
• Ensure compliance with licensing standards and YMCA funding requirements.
