Job summary

JB autotech LLC is seeking a Special Machine Designer to craft custom machinery and equipment for assembly lines. Responsibilities include developing mechanical concepts, producing detailed drawings and 3D models, selecting components, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure practical, manufacturable designs.

The role interfaces with automation and conveying systems to integrate mechanical designs with controls.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Machine Design and Mechanical Engineering for custom industrial equipment, utilizing AutoCAD Inventor.
• Proficiency in technical drawing and CAD tools for creating detailed plans and models.
• Experience with automation and integration of mechanical systems with controls.
• Knowledge of machinery standards, safety considerations, and manufacturability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably with special-purpose machines.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines.
