Job summary

Search Masters is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to lead the design and production of custom automated machinery for in-house manufacturing. You will drive projects from concept through full production, using SolidWorks to deliver robust components.

Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to optimize processes, troubleshoot production issues, and implement tooling improvements. A BS ME or MET and 5+ years in machinery design are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• BSME or MET degree highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in machinery design.
• Demonstrated strong and stable work history.
• Proven project management experience, managing scope from concept through production.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initial design concept through full production of custom automated machinery for in-house manufacturing operations.
• Design and develop mechanical components for custom automated machines utilizing SolidWorks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing and quality teams to drive process optimization and tooling improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to production processes and machine design.
