Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Special Inspections Technician II to support field testing and quality assurance on construction sites in Fort Mill, SC. You will collect concrete and soil samples, monitor activities, and prepare daily engineer reports.

The role requires 2–5 years of testing experience or 5+ years with appropriate certifications, and active ACI-1 Concrete and ICC Soils certifications with ability to recertify within months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of construction materials testing experience, or 5+ years with certificates.
• Must hold ACI-1 Concrete and ICC Soils (or SCDOT/NCDOT Earthwork) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete, soil and other site material testing.
• Monitor contractor activities and document field observations.
• Prepare daily reports for submission to the project engineer.
• Maintain safety and quality assurance on construction sites.
