Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Special Inspections Technician I to perform onsite testing and material collection for construction projects.

You will work under the supervision of a registered professional engineer and coordinate with site managers and engineers on testing and reporting. The role requires physical stamina, valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain required certifications within the stated timelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with clean record (3 years).
• Able to work outdoors on a construction site in all seasons and weather.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Effective verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and time-conscious.
• Basic smartphone/computer skills (MS Office).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain certifications: Reinforced Concrete 47C, Structural Masonry 84C, Soils ECC within specified time.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite testing of earthwork, soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.
• Collect concrete, soil, and other site materials for testing.
• Monitor contractor activities and document observations.
• Prepare daily reports summarizing test results for project engineer.
• Communicate findings with engineers and site managers.
