Qualifications

• Massachusetts competency certificates for pre-engineered/engineered systems and extinguishers required.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, inspect, and repair special hazards fire protection systems.
• Perform regular maintenance and tests to ensure code-compliant operation.
• Document findings and report discrepancies or issues.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions; replace defective components.
• Ensure safety standards compliance and maintain detailed records.
• Respond to emergency service calls and assist during fire events.
• Participate in ongoing training and certifications.
• Interact with clients to explain system functionalities and address concerns.
