Job summary

The City of Shoreview, MN is seeking energetic special event staff to help create fun experiences for guests at various community events. Duties include setup, activities, and guest interaction, with events held in evenings and weekends across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing and comfortable interacting with people of all ages.
• Customer service and teamwork skills.
• Able to take direction and work independently when needed.
• Must be comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, setting up and breaking down event equipment (up to 30 pounds).
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site event setup and cleanup.
• Lead and facilitate games and activities.
• Interact with guests in a welcoming, organized way.
• Monitor activities to maintain a safe, fun environment.
• Troubleshoot and address unexpected event needs.
