Four Seasons Maui seeks a Special Events Manager to secure and service weddings and catering business, promoting events through the Social Market while upholding FS standards and maximizing revenue and profit potential.

You will finalize bookings, ensure banquet accuracy, and prepare monthly reports. The role requires high-energy collaboration across departments, strong communication, and a passion for exceptional guest experiences in a luxury setting.

Responsibilities

• Finalize the requirements of confirmed bookings while maximizing revenue potential through up selling and ensuring effective communication with all departments for event success.
• Ensure accuracy of banquet checks and provide bill review on completion of program or event.
• Prepare a monthly booking report and ensure information is noted in Golden Sales and Catering for accurate account information.
• Actively respond to inquiries with the intention of confirming profitable wedding, catering and special events business and achieving quarterly sales goals.
• Maintain an active trace/follow-up system on all inquiries and personal sales calls.
• Conduct property tours and host meetings, social events, and weddings while overseeing banquet event execution and coordinating space setup with the Banquet Manager and Head House Attendant.

Special Events Manager

Secure and service weddings and catering business from the Social Market, through active and effective promotion while maintaining FS standards and maximizing revenue/profit potential. The Special Events Manager will be selling weddings and catering related events.

What You Will Do

Finalize the requirements of confirmed bookings while maximizing revenue potential through up selling and ensuring effective communication both written (Resumes, BEO, Daily Reports) and personal contact with all departments for the success of the event. Ensure accuracy of Banquet Checks and provide bill review on completion of program or event. Prepare a monthly booking report . Ensure all information is noted in Golden Sales and Catering for accurate account information.

Actively respond to inquiries with the intention of confirming profitable Wedding, catering and special events business and achieving Quarterly Sales Goals. Maintain an active trace/follow-up system on all inquiries and personal sales calls .

Conduct property tours and host meeting, social event, and weddings while overseeing banquet event execution, coordinating function space setup with the Banquet Manager and Head House Attendant as needed, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout all events.
