Job summary

Four Seasons Maui is seeking a Lobby Lounge Assistant Manager to plan, direct and oversee daily operations of the hotel’s Lobby Lounge. The role reports to the Komo & Lobby Lounge Manager and requires valid work authorization in the United States.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of supervisory experience in Food & Beverage, strong knowledge of service standards, and the ability to manage staff and guest relations in a luxury setting on Maui.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years supervisory or assistant manager experience in Food & Beverage.
• Knowledge of service, cost and labor control; maintenance and merchandising.
• Proficiency with English; ability to operate restaurant computer systems; certifications listed.

Responsibilities

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; daily activities and planning for outlet operation.
• The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
• Provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits and ensure quality of all food or beverage items, ingredients, and preparation methods, in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience while following and maintaining all local, state, and federal laws relating to alcohol service and consumption.

Lobby Lounge Assistant Manager

Plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees in the Hotel's Lobby Lounge while ensuring guest satisfaction. This role is part of the Food & Beverage Division, reporting to the Komo & Lobby Lounge Manager. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.

What You Will Do

What You Will Bring

• One to two years previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager position in Food & Beverage.
• Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
• Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Hawaii Food Handler Card
• Maui Liquor Card
• ServSafe (within 3 months)
• Tuberculosis Clearance
