Job summary

Los Angeles Football Club is seeking a Special Events Manager to lead planning and execution of non-sport programs at BMO Stadium. You will serve as the primary contact for clients and internal teams, coordinating across departments to deliver world-class events with seamless communication and superior service.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in events, with strong organizational skills, vendor management, and the ability to work nights and weekends as events demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Sports and Entertainment Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of events industry experience, preferably in stadiums or arenas.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills for multiple events.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and take ownership from planning to execution.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and managing contracts and budgets.
• Proficiency in Google Workplace and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of special events from start to finish.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, partners, and stadium teams.
• Lead weekly internal planning meetings with Operations, Guest Experience, Security, and F&B.
• Develop event plans, diagrams, and setup documents.
• Ensure accurate distribution of event information to all departments.
• Ensure compliance with venue policies, fire codes, and regulations.
• Prepare and manage event estimates and final settlements.
• Manage one full-time Event Coordinator and support other stadium events as needed.
• Cross-train staff for concerts, soccer matches, and major events.
