Job summary

LAFC is seeking a Coordinator, Event Operations to assist in running and servicing the stadium and events. You will liaise between the facility and clients to ensure requirements are met and policies followed, with roughly 20% overnight work.

Reporting to the Manager, Event Operations, the role involves coordinating maintenance, training staff, supporting event readiness, and helping implement safety and preventative maintenance programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Facilities Management, or related field; or 3–5 years of related training/experience.
  • 1–2 years’ arena/stadium operations experience, preferably high-volume.
  • Knowledge of events, facility conversion, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • California driver’s license required.
  • Spanish bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs after Operations leadership review.
  • Train and coordinate part-time operations crew for stadium/events.
  • Facilitate event-related requirements from departments/contractors.
  • Assist with installation and dismantle of staging, flooring, trussing, seating, and related equipment.
  • Attend event planning meetings and prep the facility for upcoming events.
  • Communicate event requirements clearly with departments.
  • Track inventory and stadium equipment.
  • Conduct facility walk-throughs and address maintenance issues.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and safety policies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Facilities Management, or related field, or 3–5 years of training/experience
