Job summary

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) is seeking a Coordinator, Event Operations to support daily stadium and event tasks at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. This role serves as the liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all requirements are met and policies followed.

The position may require overnight hours about 20% of the time and reports to the Manager, Event Operations. Candidates should have at least 3–5 years in stadium operations and strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Facilities Management, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of 3–5 years of training, experience, and education.
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in arena or stadium operations at a high-volume location.
• Strong knowledge of events, facility conversion, and maintenance practices.
• Ability to read instructions, blueprints, event documents, and maintenance schedules.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and ensure completion of maintenance and repairs from stadium Operations leadership.
• Train and coordinate part-time operations crew for stadium/events.
• Coordinate facility requirements from departments and contractors to ensure readiness for events.
• Support installation and dismantle of conversion equipment (staging, flooring, trussing, seating).
• Attend event planning meetings and communicate requirements to staff.
